Located in Hempfield’s West Point Plaza next to the West Point baseball fields, Marino’s is locally owned and operated by certified mixologist Joshua Jones and award-winning Chef Patrick Conway. Together, the two have more than 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Marino’s is a family friendly restaurant and bar with 16 beers on tap that focuses on our local craft breweries, hand crafted cocktails created by Joshua Jones, and a unique menu designed Chef Patrick Conway. All menu items are made fresh in-house daily by Chef Conway. Bring the family out for dinner in our dining room, stop by for a beer or cocktail at our 12 seat bar, watch a game on our big screens, or fill up a craft beer to go from our 32oz Crowler canning system. Meet the Chef
CHEF PAT
Patrick Conway began his career in 1982 when he started washing dishes at DeNunzio’s in Jeannette. DeNunzio’s was a family owned pizza shop that was growing into a full service Italian restaurant. As the business grew Pat also grew into many new roles as well. Chefs Marc Enrico and Ralph Scurci were very supportive in helping Pat learn his craft.
Pat then relocated to Tampa, FL where he began work at the Grand Hyatt West Shore Hotel. Under Executive Chef Hans Hickel, Pat expanded his exposure to the world of international cuisine.
Pat’s then returned to Pennsylvania in 1992 to open up two more DeNunzio’s restaurants, this time as the executive chef.
Patrick left Denunzio’s in 2014 to open up Tapped Brick Oven & Pourhouse in Greensburg. Tapped won best restaurant in Greensburg in 2016 and 2017. Pat was featured in the Tribune Review’s food section in 2006 and was also the featured chef at the Flavors of Westmoreland in 2011 and 2012.
